Presentation
A professional translator for nearly 20 years, I offer translation and proofreading services from English and German into French.
Specialized in the medical and pharmaceutical fields, I translate content aimed at both healthcare professionals and the general public. My areas of focus include clinical research, public health, and prevention. With dual expertise in language and subject matter, I ensure that every translation is accurate, clear, and tailored to its target audience.
In parallel, I have built strong experience in marketing and editorial translation. In this more creative aspect of my work, I make it a point to convey your tone, style, and intent. Blog posts, newsletters, websites, publications, subtitles — I find the right words to deliver your message effectively.
Finally, I also offer subtitling services for both standard subtitles (from English and German into French) and SME (French subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing).
Trained in audiovisual translation practices, I create subtitles tailored to the specific constraints of the medium, including: synchronization, reading speed, segmentation, readability, and condensation of spoken dialogue. For SDH subtitling, I also ensure compliance with accessibility conventions, such as: speaker identification, relevant sound cues, clarity and reading comfort.

Who am I?
After undertaking a Masters in Specialised Translation in 2008 at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Geneva, I went to live in Germany for two years, where I worked as a translator at ADAPT Localization Services in Bonn. Following this, I returned to France where I joined the SDL team in Paris, working as a translator and project leader for two years.
With these two experiences under my belt, during which I built up my expertise in medical translation and then marketing translation, I decided to go solo in 2012, setting up as a freelance translator.
I now live in the west of France and work regularly with partners located mainly in Switzerland, Germany and France.
